The Crown of Fallen Leaves
After gathering a generous pile of fallen leaves, why not craft them into a crown like this?
Simply securing oak leaves to a hoop ring creates a voluminous leaf crown with ease. Place it atop your head to become the star of autumn. It also makes a delightful interior wreath for long-lasting enjoyment. I put it on top of my usual hat and felt luxurious.
Materials
– Fallen leaves
– Macrame metal hoop ring -20inch
– Wire
– Scissors
Instructions for making
Step 1. Gathering Fallen Leaves
We gathered a generous amount of oak leaves. Using just the leaves, or perhaps with a few small twigs attached, makes it easy to achieve volume and ensures the work proceeds smoothly.
Step 2. Secure the Leaves
Gather several leaves together and secure them into a metal hoop ring with wire. Once the branches and leaves are completely dry, they will shrink as moisture evaporates, so secure them as tightly as possible.
Step 3. Cover all with leaves
Just wrap leaves all the way around the metal hoop ring, and you’re done. It’s easy!

Place it on your hat or display it in your room. A freshly made crown and one with fully dried leaves. Over time, they take on a different look. May you incorporate nature’s gifts into your life and enjoy them for a long time.

オークの葉っぱをリングに固定するだけで、簡単にボリュームいっぱいの葉っぱの王冠ができました。そのまま頭に乗せたら秋の主役になれます。インテリアのリースとしても長く楽しめるでしょう。私たちはいつもの見慣れた帽子に乗せて、ゴージャスな気分を楽しみました。
用意するもの
– 落ち葉
– マクラメ用のメタルリング -20inch
– ワイヤー
– ハサミ
つくりかた
Step 1. 落ち葉を集める
たくさんのオークの葉を集めました。葉っぱだけ、もしくは少し小枝がついていると簡単にボリュームが出て作業がスムーズです。
Step 2. 葉っぱを固定する
葉っぱをいくつかまとめて針金で輪に固定していきます。枝や葉っぱが完全に乾燥すると水分が抜けて細くなるので、できるだけキツめにしっかりと固定してください。
Step 3. 全てを葉で覆う
リングにぐるりと一周葉っぱをつけてたら完成です。ほら簡単！
自然の造形を長く楽しんでください
帽子に乗せたり、部屋に飾ったり。作りたての王冠と、葉が完全に乾燥した王冠。時間が経つと雰囲気が違ってみえます。自然の恵みを生活に取り入れて、長く楽しめますように。
